Aluminium round tubes can be processed with simple tools and are easily weldable. The hollow profiles are moderately cold formable and the alloy is extremely corrosion resistant. The high surface quality makes the round tubes suitable for a wide range of applications:

- Fences and stair rails
- Furniture
- General use in the construction industry
Thanks also to its good properties with regard to coating and anodizing, grade EN AW-6060 is the most commonly used Aluminium alloy in the long products sector. The material is magnetically neutral and suitable for use in contact with foodstuffs in accordance with EN 602.
