Who can order at materials4me?
The online shop, materials4me, is available to private persons, as well as small and mid-sized companies, skilled trades and educational institutions. We want to give everyone an opportunity to order our high-quality materials quickly and simply online.
How can I order at materials4me?
Whether you’re a new or existing customer: you can order simply from us in the online shop and there is no account setup process required from us.
Do I have to register to order?
No, you can order as a guest in our online shop. Of course, we need some data from you in order to finish processing the order. If you order from us more frequently, we recommend setting up an account, because it shortens the order process and also gives you an overview of all the orders in your account.
Where and how can I create an account?
You can create an account either within the order process, or through our home page. If you would like to create an account through our home page, just click on “My account” at the top of the page and register as a new customer by filling in the data fields. The data stored in the account is used during the ordering process. However, you can also revise this data during your order, for example if you want to use a billing or delivery address different from that stored in your account.
What do I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, just click on “Forgot password”when you log on. We will send you a confirmation email along with a link to the email address stored for your account. By clicking on the link contained in the email, you can change your password.
I am interested in a product but I can’t find on the site. Will your product range be expanded further?
Since materials4me is still a very young online shop of thyssenkrupp, not all items are available online yet. However, we are expanding our portfolio continuously. In the meantime, if you are interested in products that you do not find in our online shop, send us a message using the contact form.
What is the minimum order quantity?
At materials4me, there are no minimum order quantity and no minimum order value. You can order as much or as little material as you need.
Do you offer any discounts for large orders?
Any order over £ 100 is shipped free of charge.
How do you ensure the quality of the products offered?
At materials4me, you get metal and plastic products in proven thyssenkrupp quality. Our products are procured from quality approved manufacturers and meet all relevant quality standards. These standards are reviewed and certified by our materials experts. We are certain that you will be as convinced of the quality of our products as we are. For that reason, we also have a 30-day return policy.
Do you supply material test certificates?
Yes. However, test certificates are a special service, for which we would charge extra. You can enquire about them using our contact form.
What are your cutting tolerances?
We deliver our material to you with a maximum cut tolerance of +/– 3 mm. If you have special tolerance requirements, please use the contact form to let us know.
What polishes are available for stainless steel?
Polished stainless steel from our warehouse has a K240, dull, satin polish. For special requests, please use the contact form to send us a message.
Are your products deburred?
No, cut edges are not deburred.

How can I pay for order?
At materials4me, you can pay conveniently by PayPal, Visa and MasterCard.
I have not received an invoice. What can I do?
Our invoices are sent to you automatically by email. It is possible that the invoice may land in your spam folder. If this is the case, you can also find the invoice by logging into your account.
How can I see whether my order has been processed?
After you have submitted your order to our online shop, you will receive an order confirmation by email to the email address you specified. As soon as your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. You can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your account.
Can I change my order after I have submitted it?
Yes. As long as your order has not yet been processed, we can usually still make changes. In this case, please let us know by using the contact form.
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
If you have an account, the delivery and billing address are automatically generated from the stored data. Different billing and delivery addresses can be stored in your account. In addition, the stored delivery and billing addresses can be revised manually during the ordering process. When ordering as a guest, you can enter any delivery address for the order.
Can I return an order?
We have confidence in the quality or our products. However, if you are not satisfied with an item you have received, you can return the goods within 30 days after receipt of the delivery.
How do I return products?
You can request your return here. After we receive your return request, we will send you a return label right away. You can then simply send the goods back to us
When do I get my money back?
You will be reimbursed for the material after the returned goods have been checked. In order to accelerate the process, please initiate any returns here.
How long does it take before my order is shipped?
The delivery time is shown for each of our products. For express delivery, please use the contact form to send us a message.
How much are the shipping costs per order?
For deliveries within Germany/Spain/England,we charge a set fee of £ 8.90 per order. For orders over £ 100, delivery is free of charge.
What logistics partners do you use for delivery of the products?
Deliveries with a maximum length of 1.75 metres are sent as a normal package via our logistics partner DPD. All packages with a length over 1.75 metres are sent as XL package via our logistics partner UPS.
Do you deliver outside England?
Currently, the thyssenkrupp online shop materials4me delivers to Germany, Spain, Englandand Switzerland. If you need delivery to a different European country, please use the contact form to contact us.
Is it possible to pick up the products in person at warehouse locations of thyssenkrupp Schulte GmbH?
No. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to collect.
